West Point Towne Center is located in Surprise, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. We are located approximately 30 miles northwest of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, along U.S. Route 60.
West Point Towne Center consists of 1622 lots and is bordered by Bell Road on the north, Greenway on the south, Litchfield Road on the west and Grand Ave/Dysart Road on the east. Our community contains 1622 homes within 1 square-mile and over 3 miles of walkways and play areas.
Children in the community grades Kindergarten through eighth attend West Point Elementary, which opened to students in the fall of 2001. High School Students attend Valley Vista High School, which opened to students in the fall of 2006. Both schools are part of the Dysart Unified School District.
The first homes began going up in West Point Towne Center in 1997 with the last homes built in 2001. In January of 2000, the first election was held, giving the Homeowners control of the Association. Since then, the Board of Directors has worked hard to create a pleasant and beautiful community. West Point Towne Center is managed by a volunteer group of homeowners from within the community whom are elected to serve on the
Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is assisted in their administration of the Association by a contracted property management company, currently

Bordering our community on the West is the Surprise Center Recreation Campus.
The Recreation Campus is the City’s new square-mile plus downtown development located between Bell and Greenway, Litchfield and Bullard. The first amenity to open was the 10,562-square-foot
Aquatic Center in May of 2002. Following the Aquatic Center was the Maricopa County’s
Northwest Regional Superior Court
and the 23,000-square-foot Northwest Regional Library,
with a collection of 40,000 items in all formats, have over 60 internet accessible computers, a computer training lab, activity computers for kids and word processing computers.
In February of 2003, the first Cactus League games were played in the City of Surprise. The Surprise Center is the Spring Training home of the
Kansas City Royals and the
Texas Rangers.
The 10,500-seat-multi-purpose Recreation and Major League Spring Training Campus sits on 125 acres in the vicinity of Bullard Avenue and Greenway Road.
In addition to the amenities listed above, the Surprise Recreation Campus contains the Surprise Community Park. The park opened in the summer of 2002 and features a 5-acre lake, basketball
and tennis courts, and a 6,000 square foot playground of dreams. Other amenities include sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, walking and biking trails, an ADA Field of Dreams and multi-purpose athletic fields.
